Pete's Candy Store ( November 2011, August 2012 and November 2012)
On three occasions, Richard was granted a month-long residency at this Brooklyn venue wherein he played a total of 12 shows. During the first residency, he developed a fully-fleshed theatrical show for one of his albums. During the second residency, he developed the musical material for an album he recorded immediately after. During the third residency, he led a multi-disciplinary festival that lasted for three weeks (on three consecutive Sunday nights). Each evening consisted of two musical acts and a performance artist. This festival birthed two new musical groups that continue to play regularly to this day.
